We are seeking a skilled and proactive Project Engineer to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing, scheduling, coordinating, and monitoring assigned projects while ensuring compliance with applicable standards and specifications. This role involves daily interaction with on-site personnel and contractors, with a focus on problem-solving and delivering high-quality results.
Prepare, schedule, coordinate, and monitor assigned projects from start to finish.
Ensure compliance with applicable codes, practices, QA/QC policies, performance standards, and specifications.
Interact daily with on-site personnel, including production and health & safety teams, to interpret their needs and develop solutions.
Source, raise orders, and manage contractors to ensure the successful completion of projects.
Oversee the unloading, positioning, and service connection of high-value machinery.
Ensure the successful installation and commissioning of manufacturing machinery.
Create detailed documentation for machine trials, understanding product requirements and machine capabilities.
Learn the full range of products and quality standards to effectively organize trials and materials.
Conduct site walks to monitor contractor adherence to on-site rules, provide updates, and address work requirements.
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
Proven experience as a Project Engineer or in a similar role.
Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to find solutions independently when required.
Exceptional decision-making, leadership, and time management abilities.
Outstanding organizational skills and attention to detail.
Ability to read and interpret blueprints accurately.
Experience chairing on-site meetings to provide updates and receive feedback on projects.
Proven track record of identifying improvement opportunities and implementing effective solutions.
Previous experience in installing and signing off manufacturing machinery.
Ability to work both independently and collaboratively to achieve project goals.
